What professionalism looks like.
Apparel that sparks conversation

At Illuminate, we’re about more than shirts. We’re about you and everything you love. The passion you share with your group, club, or team; the excitement you have for your event or cause; and the drive that makes your business stand out from the rest. We believe that custom t-shirts do more than just make you look good - they help you feel good and inspire you to do good as well. We’re passionate about custom gear, but what we love even more is helping you bring what you love to life. So let’s create something together.

Screen Printing

Screen Printing involves creating a stencil, known as a screen, and then using that screen to apply ink on the printing surface. Each individual color is applied using a different screen, one at a time, combined to achieve the final look. The more colors a design has, the more screens that are needed, and the more setup time required. The ink in screen printing is applied thicker than digital printing, which results in brighter colors - even on darker shirts.

Screen printing is the best option for designs that require a high level of vibrancy, specialty products, or for larger quantities.

Digital Printing

Digital Printing (DTG or DTF) utilizes the latest technology to provide a solution to printing smaller orders with an almost unlimited number of colors in the design. For many customers, this is a great way to get full color prints on just a few shirts. Screen printing an order that size with a large number of colors had previously been cost-prohibitive before the advent of Digital Printing. Also referred to as Direct-To Garment or Direct to Film. This process works much like an traditional inkjet computer printer, but for apparel!

Embroidery

Embroidery is the craft of decorating fabric or other materials using a needle to apply thread or yarn. Embroidery offers a more elevated look to digital or screen printed garments. It is great to give that professional look to your team.

Embroidery is usually seen on caps, hats, coats, bags, towels, dress shirts, shorts, pants, stockings, golf shirts, and more. Embroidery is determined by the amount of stitches required for the art. The higher the stitch count the more it costs. This process is great for small to medium size logos.
